Student Life

AITE students receive state-of-the-art technology access through a one-to-one laptop program and the integration of technology into every content area.  The school day is scheduled in an 88-minute, alternate day, block schedule.  Students are able to participate in cutting edge technology training and can take industry certifications.

Students have the opportunity to take AP courses and Virtual High School Courses.  College level courses are offered through the nationally accredited Project Lead the Way Program in Pre-Engineering and Biomedical Science, UConn Early College Experience, and Norwalk Community College.   Graduation requirements also include a Senior Capstone project and 50 Community Service Hours.

At AITE students develop their critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creative skills and learn how to make responsible decisions.  We prepare our students through a multitude of learning experiences to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the challenges of a global community.

AITE’s staff is passionate about teaching and holds multiple certifications and advanced degrees, with many teachers having experience in business and industry previous to becoming educators.
