Cell Phone and Electronic Device Regulation
There is a body of research that shows that cell phones can significantly disrupt students’ attention in the classroom, leading to decreased focus and learning outcomes. To address this issue, we have implemented new cell phone regulations aimed at minimizing distractions and enhancing the overall learning environment. Please find attached AITE’s new Cell Phone and Electronic Device Regulation, which we will be reviewing with students the first few weeks of school.

School Breakfast and Lunch Program
Please note that breakfast and lunch meals will continue to be free for all students. Students will still need to enter their Student ID numbers at the cafeteria registers before getting their meals. Fruit for all students is unlimited. This procedure has been implemented so Stamford Public Schools can provide an accurate count of meals served to comply with state and federal program requirements.
