where parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of the child.

During the 2016-17 school year the PTSO was able to award funding for many teacher mini grants including; vocabulary software, a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, A PLTW Trip, College Tours, A trip to see the STEM movie "Hidden Figures", Astronomy supplies, A SPED trip to NYC, Chinese Poetry recital,  Chinatown trip, Future Business Leaders membership, Aerospace supplies and Dream Big: Engineering Our World IMAX movie. In order to receive a mini grant teachers submitted applications that were voted on by a panel of parents. For more information please contact the PTSO at

AITE Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) OFFICER NOMINATIONS 2017-2018.

The AITE PTSO is currently seeking parents to fill open positions for the 2017-2018 school year. If you are interested or would like to nominate someone you think would be a good candidate, please complete the form below and send it back to school with your child or send via email to The Nominating Committee will contact nominated parents and will post a slate of officers-elect at the PTSO meeting in May. Please email the PTSO at with any questions you have about the positions or process. The deadline for submission is Friday, May 5, 2017.
